課程簡介:

When Brian Lin joined Toastmasters in 1995, he had only one goal: He wanted to learn to speak proper English. He would not know that he will be a successful district governor in another country years later. In this workshop, Brian will share with you his journey from a ‘regular’ Toastmaster member to a Toastmaster leader, and how Toastmasters program has elevated his work, his relationships, and his life. He will focus on the three key areas. 1) Language: How to master the language of leadership? How does language of leader differ from others’? 2) Toastmasters: How can you get the most out of Toastmasters leadership opportunities? What benefits of Toastmasters were not mentioned in your manuals? 3) Leadership: How to excel in a new environment (ex: a foreign country)? How can leadership practices in the Western countries work with culture of the East?
