Time flies and it does. Our term will be formally ended today. Owing to your enthusiastic contribution and devotion to Toastmasters and a wholly support in the past one year, we have a smooth and a high quality year. For some reasons, we can’t reach our original goal in this term, but I still believe that we did our best and overcame many challenges. So, I’ll pay my heartfelt appreciation to all of you for your support. I am the most fortunate person for I have opportunity to work with you all.

光隂似箭，轉眼間，我們的任期，即將在今天正式結束了。一年來，由於各位的熱心參與會務，無私的奉獻精神以及對本人的支持，使總會的業務發順利，並達到許多高水準的成就。雖然許多因素，包括大環境的影嚮及本人能力不足，今年無法達成最高成就。但是，我相信大家都已儘力，共同克服許多挑戰。因此，本人特別要向各位致上最高的敬意及謝意。一年來，有各位的相挺，是我一生最幸福與滿意的事，謝謝你們，大家辛苦了!

For the promotion of District in the past one year, I visited many Toastmasters’ activities and club’s regular meetings around the whole island. It’s a challenge, but with your endless support and welcome, not only warm my heart but also let me have opportunity to enhance my leadership and communication skills. It’s the most memorable thing in my life. Thank you!

過去一年來，為了總會的業務推展，我走遍全台，參加北、中、南部各種演講會活動、以及參加分會例會，雖然辛苦，但是大家的溫暖與熱情，不只溫暖我的心，更讓我學到並増進了領導及溝通的能力，因此，這是我生命中最值得懷念的一年。

I’m very much grateful to LGET Mike Yang and LGM Grace Shih for their endless support and they did a great contribution to our District already. Their dedication spirit and wisdom are my role model.

Most important thing is that with their effort, District chartered 16 new clubs, increased 2 new Divisions and added 14 DTMs in the term.

我要感謝教育副總會長楊冀光及推廣副總會長施惠芳全心全力，不辭辛苦為全國會員做百分百的服務。楊及施副總會長熱心奉獻的精神，是我學習的榜樣。尤其在大家的努力之下，今年我們創立了16個新分會，也增加了2個部，十四個DTM榮銜。

More ever, I also need to express my appreciation to many Toastmasters:

1. IP DG Marian Hsiao, PR officer Y.S. Liao , Parliamentarian Edward Chen, District Secretary Joy Hung and District Treasurer Jenny Chen for their contribution to our District.

2. Many Committee Chairpersons, with their leadership, the teams have contributed to District too.

  Especially, I need to mention the translation committee team. Under Past District Governor Dick

 Fu’s guidance, the team translated many articles from Toastmaster magazine and also

many manuals. This is great achievement, Please join me in giving them a big salute!

此外，我也要感謝許多的會友：

1. 今年的剛卸任總會長蕭敏環，總會公關執行長廖義瀋，議事長陳英明，總會秘書長洪朝鎰及總會財務長陳素珍，感謝他們默默地付出。

2. 許多委員會的主席，他們領導不同團隊，也為我們作了許多事情，尤其是翻譯委員會，在前會長傅憲成的領導下，替Toastmaster及總會訓練教材，作了最完美的翻譯了許多。 請大家給他們最大的掌聲。

All in all, the mentioned important leaders and our members and leaders who are not mentioned here, I believe that all of you have learned a lot form Toastmasters and have a good harvest. You fulfill the spirit of District theme “Dig More, Reap More!”2009-2010. Thanks!

總之，以上所提到的重要且有貢献的領導人，以及沒被提到的會員及幹部們，我相信一年來在演講會的深耕結果，一樣都有很豐富的收獲，實現了今年的主題：深耕必得！的精神。

I wish that under leadership of our new District Top-3---DG Mike Yang, LGET Grace Ship and LGM Y.S. Liao, and their Officers’ team members, the District will be a successful and fruitful year. Let us give them a big applause and wish them “Soar to a New High!”

未來的一年，相信新團隊在楊總會長及施及廖兩位副總會長的領導之下，必定會再”展翼翅飛揚，再創高峰 !”
