As the world changes, Toastmasters International is changing
with it.
隨著世界的變遷,國際演講會也將配合改變!
According to the Board of Directors’ 2010 Strategic Plan, a
blueprint for the future,The Board called for a renewed
focus on leadership and a modernized communication Program.
Since then, time has been spent researching and
analyzing the existing program by conducting surveys with
current and former members. The WHQ then began to update and
revise the existing education structure and training
materials.
根據國際演講會理事會2010年的策略計畫,也就是國際演講會未來發展的藍圖,要求制訂一個重新聚焦於領導與現代化溝通的專案!
自那時起,國際演講會即投注相當的時間以問卷調查現有與先前會員的方式來研究並分析現存的教育方案,且著手修訂與制訂更新的教育系統與內容。
The program will debut in the second half of 2014.
This project, one of the organization’s most
significant in recent memory, will have
a
profound impact on the lives of countless people—and
you will have a huge & key part to play.這個更新的教育專案將在2014下半年開始推行。這個專案將是國際演講會歷來最重要的變革,對未來無數的人們將有廣泛與深遠的影響,現有的會員們將在這個專案中扮演非常關鍵的重要角色!
The updated program will offer a clearer path for achieving
education awards. In addition,
a
greater emphasis will be placed on developing relevant,
real-world communication and leadership skills in a globally
evolving marketplace.
The core competencies you demonstrate will help you meet
personal and professional goals.
這個更新教育方案將提供更明確的途徑以便會員取得國際演講會的教育成就!此外,這個方案將更著重於在全球演進的市場上,發展相關真實世界的溝通與領導技巧!會員們展現的出的核心能力將有助於達成個人與專業上的目標!
The
traditional core of our education system will stay firmly in
place.
Achievement and recognition remain at the heart of the
process. However, the organization is taking the learning
experience to the next level.
國際演講會教育系統的傳統核心價值將堅定不變!教育成就與榮銜仍將是教育過程的重心,然而這個組織會將會員學習的經驗帶到另一個層次!
Technology will become a powerful tool.
The revitalized program will marshal and refine online
resources to boost self-directed learning. You will be able
to harness technology to improve your speeches and meeting
roles.
科技將成為會員學習上強而有力的工具!教育更新方案將引導並精進網路上的資源,以強化自我導引的學習!會員將能駕馭科技以增進演講技巧及作好扮演會議中各個角色的能力!
You will be able to access educational materials through
mobile web applications
on your smartphones and tablets.
Video
will become a key learning tool. Expanded
digital content
will be available, along with opportunities to reach around
the globe and learn along with members in other lands. With
such far-reaching technologies at your fingertips, you can
expand your horizons on many levels. The good news is that
WHQ will use 8 major languages on the training materials and
traditional Chinese is one of them! However, English will be
the first version in the materials.
會員將可使用智慧型手機與平板電腦上的行動網路應用軟體得到國際演講會的教材。視訊將成為極重要的學習工具。數位化的教材內容將擴充,並隨著網路的運用,有機會與全球其它地區的會友一起學習!運用彈指之間無遠弗界的科技,會員們可擴張學習境界到許多層次。好消息是,國際總會將會使用八種世界主要語言在教材上,而我們使用的繁體中文將是其中之一!不過英文的版本將首先推出!
In view of this major change in Toastmasters International,
WHQ has assigned many ambassadors in each district to
promote and introduce this
“Revitalized
Education Program”!
Generally,
each ambassador will be responsible for taking care of
around 10 clubs.
Each district will have a chief ambassador recommended by
the district leaders to lead all the ambassadors in the
district. In our District 67, we have now 15 outstanding
ambassadors to take this challenge (each div. has one
ambassador recommended by div. governor and two more
ambassadors for the north and one more for the south) and
their tenure of service will be from Nov. 2013 to Sep. 2014.
During this period of time, each ambassador will pay a visit
to each assigned club twice to make a 15-20 minutes
presentation each time.
The following is the ambassador list, their respective email
address and the division they are assigned:
有鑑於此一重大變革,國際演講會在每一個地區經由推薦或自我報名的方式指派專案大使,以推廣並介紹此一教育更新專案。一般而言,每位大使將照料十個分會左右；每個地區總會由總會幹部推薦一位大使團主席來帶領這個大使團隊。我們台灣地區現在已產生十五位優秀的大使承擔此一重大任務!,大使產生的方式係以每個分部總監推薦一位大使計十二位,另北部地區增加兩位,南部地區增加一位,共計十五位大使。大使的任期自2013年11月起至2014年九月底止。在這段期間每位大使將拜訪所指派的分會兩次並各作一場15至20分鐘的介紹說明！以下為大使名單與其電郵地址及所負責宣達的分部:

The purpose of this letter is to briefly introduce the
background of
“
Revitalized Education Program”
and the ambassador team as well as
ask each club arrange time for the assigned ambassador to
make the first club visit before March 31, 2014 for the
related detailed presentation
so as to let all the members be informed of this major
change. If you have any related questions,

此信的目的在於簡略的介紹教育更新方案的背景與大使團隊,並請各分會即安排時間於明年3月31日前邀請所指派的大使至分會作第一次的詳細介紹,以使每位會員對此重大變革的方案有所了解!若有相關問題請與本人聯絡!
