It's my honor to be nominated by District Governor Grace Shih as the 2012-13 District Officer Nominating Committee Chair.

我很榮幸接受施惠芳總會長委命為台灣地區2012~2013年總會幹部選舉提名委員會主席。

2012-13 District Officer election will be held in Spring conference on April 22, 2012 at Kaohsiung City. We will elect the following district officers: District Governor, Lt. Governor Education and Training, Lt. Governor Marketing and 12 Division Governors.

總會幹部選舉將於今年四月22日早上在高雄市義大世界舉行的春季大會中，選出下任地區總會幹部。將選出總會長、教育副總會長、推廣副總會長及十二位分部總監。

I'm very happy to learn that our 12 incumbent division governors are willing to be the nominating committee members (As the following announcement from DG Grace Shih on 2/2). We'll work together to look for outstanding future leaders for District 67. According to the rules, no member of the nominating committee can be nominated for a district officer at the election and can not be a nominating committee member of previous year (2011-2012). If a member of nominating committee can not accept this position then another member will be selected by District Governor Grace Shih to replace his/her position of the committee member.

很高興得知現任十二位部總監均同意擔任提名委員會委員(請參考以下所附施總會長於2月2日所發佈的總會提名委員會名單)，有他們的協助，相信可以為總會提出未來最優秀總會幹部的人選。依規定提名委員會委員不得競選下一屆總會幹部職務，也不能是去年提名委員會的成員。如有部總監欲投入競選而無法擔任此職，其缺將由總會長另提名取代。

The fairness in the nomination process is very important to ensure the long-term success of District 67. I believe all the nominating committee members will do their best to ensure openness and transparency.

提名過程的公正是確保總會永續發展的重要程序，深信所有提名委員會的委員們在提名時會秉持公開、透明的原則全力舉才!
